I was dignosed with DCIS and IDC on 17th Sept. I have since had a wire guided WLE and 4 nodes removed at Hereford hospital. The report is now back, the nodes were clear, but the margins were not clear so I will be having more surgery on 3rd Nov. The tumor size was 1.7mm and is grade 3.
I would love to hear from others in and around Hereford.

I’m quite newly diagnosed (end of Nov 09) with grade 2 IDC, and also DCIS. I had WLE with SLND in mid dec at H’ford hosp, and because margins weren’t clear,had another excision on Wed (13th Jan) again at H’ford day case unit. Waiting for results (again) next week. Live in between Ledbury & Bromyard type area. I have found the Haven in St Owen street - maybe we could meet up for tea there sometime?
