Hi, my name’s amy and I’m 23. I was diagnosed with breast cancer just under 2 months ago and was wondering if there is anyone in a similar situation that would like to meet up for a coffee and a chat?
I realise there is a young persons forum in Sheffield which I’m hopefully going to, but I’m having fertility treatment that might overlap with the event.
Everyone close to me has been brilliant, but they still have to go to work and I sometimes feel quite isolated, so it would be lovely to meet up with someone going through the same or a similar situation.
Anyway, I hope to hear from someone soon.x

There is a thread on here somewhere called “Sheffield/Chesterfield/North Derbyshire anyone?” and if you can find it you will see that a group of us have got together about 4 times now. It’s very informal but we usually meet in Meadowhall (as some of the ladies are from Barnsley/ Wakefield way)upstairs in the Oasis, in the evening at about 7. We have a pizza/tapas whatever, a glass of wine and a great laugh !
We are a mix of ages, with a couple of ladies in their 20s. Our next meet is Tues 25th May at 7pm and you would be very welcome to join us !!! Please PM me if you think you might come along, or add to the thread I started…

Hi my name is Alison and I have recently been diagnosed! Had the surgery and just had 2nd session of chemo. I have been told of the social group and hope to join you next week. Hope that is OK!
