My wife is on Tamoxifen, and now I’m on escitalopram (an antidepressant). One of its side effects is elimination of a man’s libido. Now neither of us has any interest in sex. Problem solved!
My wife has just had a lumpectomy and lymph nodes removed and will need chemotherapy and tamoxifen. At present my only concern is her getting better. So while always wanting her, if we can’t have intercourse for a few years (sounds very formal) then it will be worthwhile when she recovers and no longer has to take tamoxifen.
