Oh Norma - he wasn’t very helpful was he. At least it’s not bad news and as he said that they weren’t ‘unduly concerned’ perhaps you could feel a bit reassured, but how horrible that you have to continue waiting and worrying.

I don’t know if this will be of any comfort to you or not. I ws recalled from a routine mammogram last November. Rang the Dr there and asked if he thought it was anything to really worry about and he said “no he didn’t”. Still in a terrible state though. Went back and had ultrasound and more mammos. Radiologist said she couldn’t see anything sinister on the mammo (shouldn’t have said anything of course) and the Dr who did the ultrasound couldn’t find anything either (and on boy did she try). Said to go back if anything changed. They thought it was a bit of breast tissue which hadn’t changed as much as the rest (whatever that might mean). I still keep looking for a lump though. Hope your news is the same as mine was.

Yippee. Good news , went for Ultrasound yesterday after longest day ever and it was just thickened breast tissue!! The Doctor was a woman and I was saying ‘Are you sure, are you sure?’ Thats when the tears came and she said I could tell you were worried because you laid there on the table without taking a breath!!
The relief was immense as you can imagine ,I came out on cloud nine.
Well thats my good news and I hope it rubs off on all of you my friends.
No news from Val yet, hope she is O.K.

So sorry you were worried I did post on another thread which I had started.My surgeon ordered an ultrasound and they found a cyst.I had it aspirated at once and all was well.Good news all roundxx
