Is this something to worried about?!

Hi everyone,

I was dx with grade 3 bc 2 years ago. I had a WLE and radiotherapy. I’ve recently had my annual mammmogram and will get the results in a couple of weeks. I find check ups since dx really anxiety provoking. Yesterday the affected breast began to feel itchy and today it has a red rash too. Is this something to be worried about? I am wondering what could be going on. Should I give my nurse a call or just wait until my appointment in 2 and a bit weeks time? Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Jacqui, i know what you mean - fear of recurrence is killing me too. can you still call the breast care nurse at the hospital for advice? i know that 2 weeks can be a lifetime when youre worried. Let us know how you get on, and good luck xxx
