Has anyone had trouble with itching and rashes during chemo? I’m scratching around my neck so much I was sure it would be all red and sore looking but there are only a few little rashy bumps which is good. Still itching though! Aloe Vera seems to calm it a little, any other ideas?

The gemcitabine gave me mega itching then a groin rash the first time, but thankfully not really since then. Fortunately it just lasted a couple of days but enough to me driving me mental. It was all over so couldn’t really try any creams etc.

Fortunately it’s only around my face and neck (and a bit under my wig) so I’ll continue to slap on the Aloe Vera and hope that it goes away!

Hello. I had an unsightly itchy rash after Taxotere. It went away after about 10 days helped by anti histamines.
