Has anyone suffered from severe itching whilst taking Armidex, I have been on the drug for 3 weeks now. Woke up one night to find I had been scratching myself terribly. This went on for 4 days, after which I couldn’t stand it any longer. So I decided to stop my Armidex for a day, to which after 24 hours I stoped itching, this was pure heaven. Have to see my Specialist nesxt Wednesday 19th.March, so will have to discuss this with him.
Would love to hear from any of you with your views on this.
I’m not on Arimidex, but Tamoxifen & Herceptin. I get itching that comes & goes. It seems to last three or four days, then have three or four weeks off. There is no obvious pattern, and I don’t know if it is the Tamoxifen or Herceptin that is causing it. My onc is not any help on the matter. I have found using moisturiser regularly helps, so I am assuming that it is caused by dry skin - something that I have never suffered from before.
