Friday 25th April I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy. The Biopsy came back clear.
I came home from hospital friday afternoon. Today (tuesday) four days after op, my breast and underarm area is really itchy and driving me nuts. Obviously I cant scratch it because it is still quite tender. I have had a wound check and the nurse said its healing nicely that was before i started to itch… Is the itching normal or should i be concerned. my hubby said its probably a sign that everything is healing, but i am a little concerned. If it is normal is there anything I can do to stop the itching. Any help or advice appreciated.
