I have been diagnosed with DCIS.
The news came 4 weeks ago and I have surgery on Wednesday. I am so grateful that this has been found and I’m being looked after, however the speed of everuthing is twisting my melon.
Is this normal?

Quite normal, Jan.

Hi Jan,
It’s definitely normal. I underwent surgery less than 4 weeks after diagnosis.
The whole process from biopsy-diagnosis-surgery-results took 42 days!
