Just to offer my very best festive wishes to all the team here at BCC.
Hope you all have a good break and thank you for being there: for me, for new frightened women, for their families and friends, for women undergoing changes in their cancercare and for all of us who get very frightened at times…
You do a fantastic job in bringing us together and helping us through some really dark times.
Sincere thanks to the helpline team workers who never fail to bring assistance and light. I don’t need you so much now but won’t ever forget the support you offered along the way…
Jolly Christmas cheer to you all and to all the wonderful posters here who help bring this forum to life.
Big thanks to all at BCC for all you do to keep the main site up to date, the forums working (most of the time anyway ) and the helplines there for anyone who needs them. Thank you, too for tolerating our occasional winges about colour schemes!
This is a great place for support, encouragement and even laughter, and the quirky never right clock (it seems to be BST the wrong way round, at least on both computers I use!) is somehow endearing :-))
Have a wonderful Christmas break, and a healthy, happy 2012
I’ll third this! This website, and the forums in particular, is an absolute lifeline for us when we have been diagnosed with this life-changing disease. And it’s here for us where ever we are on the planet too! Having started my journey in the UK, I’m now back in my home country New Zealand where there are brilliant cancer charities and health professional, but unfortunately no online forums quite like this. So to EVERYONE on the BCC team, and all of the members here, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the service and support you give and I wish you all a very happy Christmas and New Year.
Thank you from all the team here at BCC for your thanks and best wishes, they are very much appreciated and we hope you all have a peaceful and happy Christmas too
Thankyou from me too I know I would have gone to pieces without the support of the staff and members of this forum.
Have a great Xmas and may 2012 bring us all good health and lots of laughter something I’ve missed for a while:) x
Very big thank you from me too. I’m only at the beginning of this life changing event, have phoned the helpline three times and it was always very helpful. I’m so glad this forum and helpline and leaflets to download exists, it’s a massive help.
And another BIG thank you from me too - not just to BCC for providing this wonderful forum but to all you fantastic ladies who offer constant help & support to us all, no matter what’s going on in your own lives at the time. I never feel alone while this forum is around, so thank you!
Merry Christmas to you all & here’s to an uneventful 2012, full of positive news & happier times
Another big thank you- the help line have been kind and patient when I needed them, and the existence of the forum has maintained what passes for my sanity- thankyou all!
and a happy christmas from me - nearly 3 years on I still dip in and out of the forum - usually looking for answers and reassurance, but posting and helping where I think I can help ! You all were there for me at the beginning of my journey and quite simply got me through the bad days ! So a big thankyou from me and a happy and healthy new year to one and all xxx
What else can I say except: Thank You from me as well. I am not a regular visitor, but all the support from this site has been invaluable. Have a great Christmas.
To the BCC team
These forums are a life line for me. The help and info that other women give me do throw a perspective on the treatments out there and the hope that we all need to hear so may women living for a long time with treatable cancer.
With best wishes for a peaceful Christmas.

Thank you so much to all the people at BCC and on the forums who have helped me through a truly horrible year. I don’t know what I would have done without you all - probably would have fallen apart even more than I did.
Yes, yes, yes! A *huge* thank you to all the lovely BCC staff for all their hard work, this website has been so helpful and supportive in the past year. I’d also like to thank all my fellow posters, what a wonderful group of people you all are!
A big THANK YOU from me too… This place is invaluable and the work you do is fab… And it’s cos your here I have met so many fantastic women to share my experiences with and made some brilliant BFFs
i don’t think i would have coped so well if i hadn’t found this forum, and also BBC in general
And i have made myself a promise that i will be doing something at the end of this to help support BBC as a volunteer in some capacity, and by putting it on here i have now madde it public
A big thank you from me too girls and boys. I never thought I would be posting on the Forums and have obviously followed them for some time!!. They are so brilliant - especially for those on chemo and with the larger more aggressive tumours or metastatic disease that make you very lonely and vulnerable. One becomes part of a virtual world of friends who understand so well what is happening because we are doing it together. Whilst on chemo you are sitting about so much - to post passes time and helps maintain sanity. There is also a great satisfaction to help others.
To me It is interesting form this view! Hopefully I will revisit my original viewpoint soon!!

Ps. Well said re helpingBCC. Funds are tight because of the financial problems all small charities are having. We Forum girls ought to do a mass weight loss sponsership or something similar because of the weight that creeps up on chemo. Perhaps an annual BCC get healthy two months! Others could join in etc.
I thought perhaps a round robin lunch party everybody has six - 10+ guests for a soup and bread lunch at five pounds a head but then they too have to invite a similar number tec.
Lots of ideas just time to do it between appts and perhaps reaching NED.
