Hi @sammy75 I had my first round of EC last Friday. I’ll be having 4 EC then 4 paclitaxel. I’ve not been too bad this week. I haven’t been sick, it’s just the fatigue that’s really affecting me. I had a big dip on Monday (day 4) but my chemo nurse explained that this is partly the steroids wearing off. In terms of the injection, I’d say don’t overthink it! I have no problem with needles and thought I’d be fine, but I got myself in a right tizz when it came to doing the injection. It was fine and didn’t hurt at all. I did get back ache for a few days afterwards but could manage that with paracetamol and ibuprofen. And your doc is right, you’ll have a huge bag of meds! I’ve been keeping a record of symptoms etc for when I see my consultant. One of the anti sickness meds has made me very sleepy so I’m asking for that to be reduced next time.
