Starfire, I’m dryer too (surprising after all this swimming) not painful though. But I’ve gone back to using a lubricant - I was the same after having first child (c section no idea if that’s related) it righted itself last time but as this is hormonal I don’t know if this will.

Moo moo I can’t wee straight either, I’m putting it down to having no hair there to direct the flow. I grab I big bunch of tissue and hold it in front to help direct the flow.

Oh my goodness fel, I’m so sorry to hear that. I was treated for sepsis when I did my 4 day stay in hospital over Easter so I know how awful it makes you feel. But 9 days…wow.

4th day of Tamoxifen. Period pain stomach ache and pain in hip joints, ankles and feet. I don’t know if this is to be expected.
Tomorrow I’m seeing my new consultant about Radiotherapy.

Fel don’t worry you just need to be kind to your body give it chance to heal. My taste seems to go for ages my onc told me not to worry about it even if it didn’t come back between chemos. It will recover. And yes antibiotics can change both taste and smell. I’ve seen that before
Starfire new consultant - I hope they are a good improvement on the last one. It makes such a difference.
Tamoxifen - that will be me too eventually. Can’t wait ! ? though it sounds like at least your body is coping with it. I wonder if the SE settle down after a while.

Fel…hope youre feeling a bit better this morning. You poor thing. Just think though when youve recovered from this no more evil chemo and you can get strong again.
Tamoxifen starts 2 weeks after surgery for me…
Went to see Breast Surgeon yesterday for pre op chat and consent…he drew all over me and I cant get it off!!!
Loosing the left nipple because its full of tumour but have opted to loose the right as well as I cant get my head around having one nipple. Hope its the right choice!! Starting to worry a little…I like my boobs and the reality of them being gone is starting to hit me a bit.
Think maybe a day on the raft for me today…xxx
Rosie my surgeon did the same it took 3-4 days of bathing for it to go. At the end of the day we all have to do what we feel is most comfortable to us. I was talking to a lady a few days ago that didn’t want any recon and 2 years later she is still happy with that. (Though she’s 75) I’ve another friend (40s) who changed her mind a year later had the recon(diep) And is really glad she did, she’s delighted with it so much so she’s offered to flash me her boobs !

She gives free nipple tattoos to breast cancer survivors her work is really good. My hospital offers the tattoos 6 month after surgery. Which I presume is 6 months after the nipple reconstruction. They can make you a stick out bit from cartilage it’s quite amazing. They also showed me pictures of stick on prosthesis nipples you can wear until then.
It’s just an option. But good to know there are options. Personally I’m having whatever I can get to make me feel good about my body. And that’s what only you can decide what’s going to make you feel good. And you will look good whatever after all nipples aren’t seen by many people are they ! I’m certainly not planning any page 3 work. ?

I think its just a reality thing setting in!! Ive looked at some of those 3d Nipple tattoos which look awesome…
I do think I would prefer two fake bobbs and two fake nipples…
Enough about that…your Penultimate Chemo Woo hoo…the longest journey of us all and you are almost there. I am so pleased for you. Two more rubbish post chemo weeks to get through…you have been so stoical. I think youve done amazingly well and always always on hand for the rest of us.

Rosie good advise from starfire you got to do what’s right for you though so many options out there to get the nipple look back. Having had mastectomy I’ve got a silicone prosthesis that fits in bra and has a nipple shape to it and under the bra and a top no one would know any different. Theres also smaller prosthesis you can put in bras for partial bits gone .But it’s about how you feel I had no choice and it’s harder when you have a choice but go with your gut x

Oh shocked I can’t imagine having to undertake moving at this point you poor love! You could do with stealing some steroids for moving day to give e a boost I think ! Xx
Meant to say rosie i think id feel the same too about the symmetry now you’ve explained both being rejigged. Don’t belittle the importance of that or compare to others as important to get it right for you as you are the one who has to feel comfortable with it and if you like me once you have something in your head you will not get it out your head ! Xx
