hello everyone ! i have not been on the forum for quite a while but i would like to give/ share a little update on things… today is our daughters first radiotherapy session. tomorrow is her 29th birthday ! her sessions are set daily up till the 2nd of jan (my mums birthday) we all try to see these dates as good omen ! she also has an appoinment on sunday to discuss her ovary and fallopian tubes removal op. still having the big breast surgery ahead of her. so still so many things to have ahead of her… combined with fear, worry and also hope for a safer life/ outcome to come. not too sure if i did mention this but our son had good BRCA 1 results, he did NOT inherit the faulty gene as our daughter and myself ! which are incredible positive and happy news !!! and we are all so relieved for him and also ourselves not to have to fear and worry for him also. my ovary(only one remaining) and fallopian tubes removal is on the 15th of jan. my breasts op is scheduled for some time in june (i did decided to leave 5 month between ops, as im so worried to have both ops too close together… my thanatophobia is drowning me !) i also would like to reach out to all the incredible woman i met on here and did reach out and wrote to me but also simply to everyone, who is using this wonderful and so important forum… i just would like to wish that everyone can navigate themselves through the christmas periode and hopefully will have support from friends and loved ones… sadly there are also people, which wont have this support, for various, sad reasons… and i hope that these people will find a safe and supportive place in this forum… as you women on here are so full of care, love and endless support !!! please all of you, never give up the fight… continue to find strength-be strong to continue this insane journey ahead of you… never give up hope…
thank you so. so much also, for all your care and support which i did recieve since the biginning of this year… it means so incredible much ! i also include this to the wonderful nurses on here and all those people in the background, who make this side run… you are all amazing and wonderful people- THANK YOU ALL
