just been diagnosed - 6 days to mastectomy

i was diagnosed on 25th May after finding a ‘splodge’ on 6th May - i think my dad summed it up with ‘thats a bit of a bugger!!!’. just want to get next monday over with and move on. looking for support from all the wonderful people that have gone through things and come out the other side.

Hello Lordy999, Just to say welcome to the site and sorry that you have had to join us. I presume that you are going to the hopital on Monday to have results and to receive you a treatment plan. Just to say that you are not alone and that we are here to support you through all this. I was diagnosed with BC 23 years ago and I am still around and believe it or not, enjoying life again. You may not think this right now but once you know where you are going it makes all the difference. It is a long time until Monday so come back on here again if you need to talk and just to be able to say how you are feeling without having to worry about what is going on in your head. Sometimes telling your nearest and dearest is not what you want to do and if this is the same for you we are here to listen and hold your hand. take care, Val
