Have been diagnosed with lung mets 2 weeks ago.Already have bone mets in hip and spine .Waiting to start new treatment(Cape). Can anyone offer me any words of hope feeling extremely worried and anxious thanks
Hi caz1963,
I was diagnosed with lung mets in September 2016. Devastated was an understatement! Since then I’ve been on Letrozole, Tamoxifen, and now Fulvestrant with Abemaciclib. I haven’t hade Cape but have heard good reports from people who are on it.
I do still have down days but generally just get on with living my life! If 1963 is the year you were born, we’re the same age.
Hope my post makes you feel a tiny bit better.
Maggie
Hi, I was diagnosed with low volume lung mets over three years ago. I am on Letrozole and Palbociclib ( sort of, currently ‘resting’ from Palbociclib as my neuts are way down.) My Onco is very pleased as my four mets are stable and he says the disease is well controlled. I’m now 73 and just getting on with life. Best wishes. Ann
