Hi

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis and like a lot of us on here we understand how you feel when all of a sudden your world is turned upside down,

I was diagnosed 4 Feb and had my operation on 4th March and now waiting to start radiotherapy.

Everyone on here is very supportive

thank you jaye and jo. All I know so far is I need chemo to shrink the tumour before surgery…going to find out more detail next Tues ,start chemo soon after. Chemo side effects sound terrifying. I didn’t realise you could lose all your body hair, brows and lashes until I read some of the posts. AlthouI I also cant wait for something positive to happen that makes me feel "it "is being eliminated from my body.Am finding it difficult to tell my friends …dont want to see the horror in their eyes, and feel my fears escalating. Am a bit better…calmer today than yesterday and last night as I dont want to self sabotage my own recovery…spending at least an hour a day listening/trying to mediate to tranquil music and going out for long walks to try and soothe my mind.I think knowing there are lots of people coping out there will help me to get a grip!!
