Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply, I had my first chemo on Friday 25th Sept and was generally just feeling sick and vomiting quite alot but then by the following Tuesday I was having the shivers and sweats, my temp was up to 38 and I ended up being hospitalised for 8 days, the worst 8 days of my life to date, I was in agony, the docs say I picked up a viral infection a bit like flu!
Anyway, I was finally released on Wednesday 7th Oct so it’s good to be back home in my own bed, my hair is also starting to come out now, I had my first little clump on my pillow today which made me cry, I just can’t bear to shave it yet, I have pretty thick hair so it still looks okay but I know it won’t last long!
I still feel a little sick but all the anti sickness tablets seem to make me throw up, i tried about 4 different brands whilst I was in hospital and none of them worked! Now I seem to be experiencing heartburn/ mouth watering all the time, did this ever happen to you guys???
