Following the discovery of a cyst in my right breast I was referred to the hospital by my GP. I had a mammogram and ultrasound and was surprised to discover I had an even larger cyst in my left breast and both were aspirated. Another 11mm lump not palpable was disovered in my right, I had biopsy and was diagnosed with DCIS. I’m booked in for MRI next week. To be honest still in shock and family are not being as supportive as I hoped. I guess they are dealing with the news. I feel like a good cry but just trying to hold in together. I’m thankful that it has been detected but still a little concerned as I feel in limbo. I suppose once I have the MRI I will have more clarity. Just a quick question can the MRI scan detect more cancer cells.
