Hi mai3, sorry have only seen your message. Glad to see you have good results from your surgery. I had my lumpectomy Dec and having a 2nd soon due to pre cancerous cells within margin but apart from that, the active cancer was killed off by the neo-adjuvant chemo and immunotherapy. Hope your appointment went well, radiotherapy is next for me after surgery, take care xx
HI buddies
Sorry about your diagnosis and that you had bc in the past, such a long time ago as well which must have been a shock for you.
It is scary, especially in the beginning but I remember feeling better about it all once the plan was discussed and treatment started.
For me it wasPaclitaxel/Carbolpatin plus immunotherapy for 3 months, then EC plus immunotherapy for 2 months, then surgery (Which I had Dec but having a 2nd op next week to clear the margins) then radiotherapy and more immunotherapy.
It sounds very positive from what you have said with no lymph involvement although I know it is still scary when your mind starts thinking about what lies ahead. My advice is to think positively that you caught it when you did and your team will have the best plan in place for you soon. xx
