just to let you know

just to let you know I noticed an entry relating to ‘This Morning’. and although I have had time to watch [what with being a little tired] I hadn’t seen ‘The diary’. Anyway talking of diaries I wondered if any one else had kept one. I have been keeping mine online and have had some really nice feed back, but apart from that I find it therapeutic to just get all of the thoughts and feelings out sometimes. Also I think it’s quite nice to have a ‘normal’ perspective instead of all the celebs versions!! I really like this forum [although I am very new to all of it] and I did reply to someone but can’t remember where they were…will I ever get the hang of technology?? Any one who wants to look at my diary can log in either at www.healthdiaries.com/sharon if the server asks if the URL is valid just click on the link, I’ve also got a copy on spaces.msn.com/beastcancerdiary yes it does say beast!! any way I wish you all well and hopefully hear from one or two of you soon. all my love xx

I’m keeping one too! Hi,

Keeping a diary is an excellent idea - I’ve been keeping one for a few months now and I find it really therapeutic.

Reading about your diagnosis and fears of surgery etc brought it all back for me. I can’t beleive sometimes that it’s been 7 months since it all began for me and now I’m a month away from finishing chemo and getting some sort of life back together.

I was also overwhelmed by cards, flowers and kind wishes - makes you feel really special, doesn’t it?

Hope you’re kids are coping o.k. and feeling better. I don’t have kids but I can imagine how difficult it must have been to tell them.

Like you, I have a really supportive husband - don’t know what I’d do without him. I feel extremely lucky sometimes.

All the best,
Tasha x

Diary I have kept one since I was 13 (now 54) so it was natural to continue. However I have written additional separate notes about important events in my life such as my wedding, the births of my children, the deaths of my parents, and the bc experience. One day I’m aiming to write my autobiography for my children. Well, if Jade Goody can do it, so can I!
