Well, I was due Kadcyla #2 on Friday, but I had a bit of a nasty skin reaction over the weekend and was in hospital, pumped full of steroids and antihistamines. They think it’s a reaction between the radiotherapy I’m also currently having and the Kadcyla, even though it shouldn’t happen. So Friday has been cancelled and also the next cycle I believe.
I did have a huge cry/I can’t do this this anymore day on Sunday, but I have rallied once more now everything is under control. I’ve realised I’m probably going to end up with most of May off between the the end of radiotherapy and starting Kadcyla again. I can’t wait as I desperately need a break! So I’m looking at this delay as an unexpected present and hoping for lovely weather.
