keyhole surgery vs incision for Oopherectomy Hi there , I was wondering whether anyone has had keyhole surgery for Ovary removal following ceasarian sections in childbirth. I have been told that as I have had two caesarians I cannot undergo Keyhole surgery and would have to undergo a full abdominal incision.
Just wondering what others have experieced.

thanks for your posting - im due the same op soon myself, and i have had - only one - c section, i never gave that a thought.

Hi Frances I have a begin cyst on my ovary and, because its so large, it is planned that I have it (the cyst) removed via keyhole surgery later this year. I too have had two caesarians and this did not seem to be an issue at my initial consultation.
