Hi Janet Hi Janet
Ive not received mine yet, but I am really looking forward to it!

I did full days at work last week, and I must be honest I was bushed and more than a little tearful last Friday. They have asked me to do three days with a possibility of full time, and I really dont think that I am ready for it, it just seems to get to me, and I feel overwhelmed.

I am away on holiday a week from today, so I am trying to do a lot of things that 12 months ago would not have been a problem, (like packing fo all of us and sorting the animals out) I think that the course will really help me move on and cope with things a little better.

I saw your posting about going for your check up and just wondered what they do.

Speak to you soon

Hi Hello Debbie

Nice to hear from you. Hope you are keeping well but on the work side of things don’t try to do to much I find that I have to pace myself on doing things each day were as 12 months ago I could have done a lot more but I do find I am feeling a lot better about things now as long as I don’t put pressure on myself.
On the hospital appointments they were fine (still a bag of nerves on the day) I just had bloods checked because I am on the AZSURE TRIAL and they gave me a good examination that was all really but I did’t have any problems which was good so that is it for another 3 months.
Hope you have a good holiday (were are you going) and relax.

Hi Janet

Good to hear from you! I bet you are really happy that youre first visit to the dreaded hospital is over with! Great news!!

Were going to Portugal, weve been going back to the same place for the past 13 years, the place is really quite and I think that I am looking forward to it!! I feel a little nervous about leaving my comfort zone though.

You mentioned the ‘Azsure’ trial, what is that?

Look forward to seeing you in Bolton. (Im booked in to have my ovaries out the Monday after, so it will take my mind off it!

Speak to you soon.

AZURE TRIAL Hi Debbie

Glad to hear you mention the COMFORT ZONE only I thought it was only me who felt like that. The azure trial is something that was offered to me at the start of treatment it is drug known as bisphosphonates which is used to treat osteoporosis in later life but there is evidence from earlier studies that it may prevent cancer spreding to the bones. also they will monitor me for 10 years.

Anyway have a good hoilday and post me when you get back. not long then to Bolton. looking forward to meeting you.
