Hi, im sorry to be asking yet another question but im worrying about a few things. I had a mastectomy 4 weeks ago, and have noticed an area above scar that looks orange peel like. I did show my bcn who said i see what you mean, then went on to say that my scar is healing nicely. So i cant remember if she said it was something to worry about. Has anyone else had this? is it normal? I googled it and i think it didnt necessarily mean it was cancer.
thanks
anna
i had a dumple in my boob after WLE which turned out to be something called mondors disease and is totally benign but worried myself silly about it… ask your BCN if you can get examined by your surgeon so you can put your mind at rest.
dont be sorry for asking questions… the whole point of the forum is to ask questions hunny… and if you think of anything else just ask away.

Thanks LuLu, i see my oncologist possibly tomorrow when i go to another planning appt. I just feel like im being really negative, but i have been worrying all weekend about these things. I think its really starting to get to me now, i want the finishing line to stop moving.
anna, i have sent you a pm… x
anna i totally know what you mean about that finishing line… i just feel that every time im getting somewhere i get another slap in the face too, but thankfully so far everything has come normal except finding out i have the BRCA2 gene and the implications of that.
i hope its nothing serious anna but i would def say something tomorrow and ask to see your onc about it.
big hugs
Lxx
Thankyou redcell, i dont usually let it get to me but i think its beginning to, thanks for you kind words.
thanks Lulu to, i wish i could just deal with these things without wanting to just run and hide, i have read about your ordeals and you handle them so well, i just want to hide.
I will definately speak to oncologist tomorrow about my fears,
many thanks
anna
