Another milestone over Margaret, Onwards and upwards.
Take care

Well done on getting to the end! I’m on session 9 of 20 today, and I’m fed up already with going to the hospital every day. They are always running late, and it is all such a drag. Can’t wait for it to be over.
Hi Margaret,
Well done on getting to the end of your rads. I’m about half way with mine and it does seem to be so time consuming - like Roadunner says machines are always running late.
Well done
cheers

I bet you are glad it’s over, Margaret. Just a word of warning. I finished mine two weeks ago. My skin has become sore underneath my breast since I have finished, although it was fine during treatment. I have found wearing a secret support vest helps, as it does not cut into the skin like a bra does. I am also using the hydrocortisone cream prescribed by the Oncologist. I have been getting little stabbing pains in the breast as well over the past two weeks, so don’t be alarmed if you do. Hopefully you will be fine though.
Love
Julie.
May last rads on Wednesday so 3 boosters to go this week. I was one of the unfortunate ones I think that have ended up with a boob thats redder than Rudolph’s nose. Has been very itchy also and my nipple is so sore. I also like Julie have the Hydrocortisone cream and have told told to watch for skin splitting or blister which can sometimes happen. However these things don’t happen to everyone buts its good to be aware.

Hi all, thanks for the good wishes. Ive now started Arimadex and all going well so far. I saw the oncologist a week before I finished rads and he warned me the side effect from rads would peak this weekend but I
ve been OK. Still red and sore under my arm but it feels as though it is wearing off a bit. But Ive still been very tired so I
m taking plenty of rest.
