I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind support over the last few months… I am having my last treatment tonight at 7.30pm then I have no more appointments until Feb 2012!!
Radiotherapy has gone pretty well, I used the 99.9% Aloe gel it seems to have done the job so far, one or two slight pink moments but with application they soon calmed down. I did hit a wall of tiredness half way through the 2nd week but have come through that now fairly well with lots of early nights! I drove myself on the 46 mile round trip every evening after work so thats probably why I got a bit pooped, but it is great to see the end of the tunnel now.
Tamoxifen seems -touch wood- to be settled down in my system too after some joint pain, sickness and nausea early on, and still one or two hot flushes daily but its pretty good on the whole.
I’d like to wish everyone having chemo, ops and rads all the very best with your treatments and send love to you all.

I hope u can now go off & enjoy your life away from appts all the time as they do seem relentless when your having treatment don’t they. Im having my 3rd chemo on friday but it’s going so quickly thankfully & i think with xmas to think about hopefully the time will fly by.
Hope the Tamoxifen stays good for u, i must admit to be a little apprehensive about having that but i’ll cross that bridge when i get to it.
