I’m 2 years down the road from my diagnosis. I needed mastectomy, lymph nodes out And radiotherapy. I’m really struggling to decide what to do with my other breast and whether to go down reconstruction route.
My surgeon has agreed to doing mastectomy on my other breast or I can do reconstruction with ld flap on old mastectomy. I was wondering if anyone is out there who is sporty and has had ld flap ? Also is anyone happy with their double mastectomy ? Having 2 young kids I’m constantly bending over so it only really bothers me when I’m doing that and my top gapes. I spotted a comment on lingerie tape which I’ve never tried. After everything I’ve gone through I’m just not sure I’ve the guts to go through with LD flap. Cheers x
