Hi everyone
I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you who has offered me support and words of wisdom over the last 10 months…
I’m trying to come to terms with having secondaries and what that means for my husband and I and our future… Reading the sad news of recent passings of some of the courageous ladies on here, has made me realise that I need to start living my life again, away from the constant shadow of the big C.
I’ll be popping by every now and again, but I won’t be reading every day anymore…
Here’s offering hugs and support to EVERYONE on here, I hope you are all as well as can be…

Hi Joan, I quite understand your feelings, and what you say about getting away from the shadow of it and living as fully as you can. Hope you have some reasonably good health and manage to find some wonderful things to get stuck into. We’d love to hear how you’re getting on whenever you feel like popping back.
Love Jacquie x
Good luck Poannie, make the most of every second of every day. I wish you all the best.

Hi Poannie…wishing you well. I’ve decided to have a long break too…Good Luck…Much Love…Belinda…xx
Hi Joan and Belinda
I’m fairly new to all this secondaries lark but I’ve read lots of your inputs so know you’ve probably been around a long time. A break sounds a great idea, I know I did the same thing after my initial dx for BC. You definitely have to get on with things and stop this hanging over you every single day - try to shove it to the back of your head.
Good Luck and enjoy the summer

To Joan and Belinda
I too would like to wish you both well and thank you for your very positive posts. I especially will miss your posts, Belinda, because as a fellow bone mets, you have given me hope that I too could have a few more good years yet before it all goes pear-shaped! Sometimes I also feel that I spend too much time reading these threads and should limit myself to once a fortnight or so, as I feel it can become a bit addictive.
Regards
Linda
Hi Both of you
Wish you both well and thanks for all your posts. Hopefully you will pop back now and again in the future to let us know how you are. Can completely understand though as I have not felt like posting much recently, needed a little time out I think.
All the best
Dawn
