Leeds - Secondary Breast Cancer Information Day 8 July 2016

 

Breast Cancer Care is running our annual Secondary Breast Cancer Information Day on the 8 July  in Leeds.

 

It’s a full day of information and support and chance to meet up and chat with others with a diagnosis of secondary breast cancer. It’s also an opportunity to hear from expert speakers on the Medical Management of Secondary Breast Cancer, and Clinical Trials including what are clinical trials, who’s eligible and how to go about accessing appropriate trials in your area. We finish the day with the chance to try some techniques for Relaxation. It’s also an opportunity to find out more about Breast Cancer Care’s services and more about the ongoing meetings in Leeds.

 

It’s completely free to attend and all refreshments and lunch are provided. Breast cancer is a second most prone cancer after the skin cancer. It can be observed in both men and women but it is rarely seen in men and commonly seen in women. As per surveys about 2,300 new men get prone to cancer and about 230,000 women get prone to this cancer each year.
