left breast suddenly denser, bigger, sore

Hello, 

I am 26 years old and am new to this community! Recently, 1 month ago, my left breast started to become bigger relative to my right breast. The areola is larger as well. There are no lumps based on multiple exams. Soreness began in the lower part of my left breast 2 weeks ago. An ultrasound of the painful area showed normal tissue. It seems to have gotten a little bigger since; now it appears almost twice the size of my right breast and overall the entire breast tissue is sore to touch. I have always been even breasted my entire life and am neither pregnant nor on birth control. 

I would appreciate thoughts and wisdom as I pursue the answer! :slightly_smiling_face:

Nicole glad you’ve reached out on here, please do ring the number on here and speak to a nurse they will be able to guide you. If it were me, I’d be back at the doctors asking for another referral just to ensure they check everything again well done for being breast aware and vigilant.
