Started taking letrozole a few days ago. Have pcos & have had issues with acne in the past. Am concerned about acne recurrence. Has anyone experienced acne recurrence while taking letrozole?
I had terrible acne for years and years and I am now on letrozole and have been for 3 years now. It hasn’t made my acne come back. If it did, I would go on roaccutane again, but I am 70 now so hopefully my days of acne are over now. I did have it until I was about 38 or 40 and I think I read somewhere that acne can be associated with breast cancer diagnosis. I only found out about roaccutane late in life when my mother insisted I go to see a skin specialist, This was after I had a very bad experience with a make up artist who made me feel like the back of my neck was covered in boils, when I and a number of friends booked her to tart us up.
