Hi is anyone else having severe insommnia with letrozole, I get up crying most mornings because I haven’t slept my dr has given me fluoxetine and some sleeping tablets.
I don’t have much joint pain anymore so that’s a start lol.
Not sure what to do now, feel sometimes like stopping taking it, but I know the benefits do out weigh the side effects.

I take the letrozole in the evening, plus I take amitriptyline which ensures a really good nights sleep. Might be worth asking Dr about amitriptyline. Not sure why they prescribed fluoxetine? If you need to take those, do so in the morning because they will not help sleep patterns.

I was on fluoxetine a while ago for anxiety and it worked for me so dr popped me back on it,and I never had a problem sleeping while I was on it, it’s also supposed to help with hot flushes.
Although I’ll take those over not sleeping any day lol.
I take my tablets in the morning hoping that by night time I can sleep, but that still hasn’t helped.
