Thankyou Joanne.

All I can say is that I wish clinicians would have a better understanding of just how debilitating these hormone blockers can be for some people. Not just give out the prescription and leave us to it but have better communication and take a little more time to understand our pain, anxiety and fears. I’m happy for the people who tolerate this medication well, that goes without saying. I see so many threads, not just here, on other forums and I feel that uncertainty…that worry many of us have. It’s good that we reach out to each other, makes us feel less lonely but doctors should be more clued up on hormone blockers and potential side effects and risk factors. G.Ps need to take time to study these drugs and show some empathy. If hormone blockers had no side effects wouldn’t that be great? I understand that it’s up to the individual to choose whether or not to take certain medications but just having someone in the medical profession to listen and maybe help by talking to us as individuals would be a great help. I believe that one day there will be a cure that will be safe and comes with less or no risks.

As for brand names, there are none that I can list because each country/state, ect stocks or allows only what they do so my advice is read the labels and look for ones that do not have a bunch of fillers. You know those extra ingredients that are non-meducal. They should only state the content of what the capsule is made with. Also if possible to a quick online search for the brand name you like and look for comments/reviews on it. Amazon comme ts can also help sometimes…. Sometimes.
Gee I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if I can assist more.
