I have been taking Letrozole since February this year. Since my chemo I have had problems with my digestion stomach pains, nausea some bloating. My precription for lanzoprozole has been increased to 30mg. Yesterday after a urine test at my GP’s he said I had white blood cells in my urine and diagnosed me as having a UTI. I have also been referred for a scan. In the last four weeks I have had terrible bloating worse than before I look about 6 months pregnant I can’t sit upright in the evening. Has anyone else experienced this?
Hi Legoss, sending a gentle hug and wishing you well . I’m on Letrozole but not suffering the side effects you are describing. Obviously very distressing and painful for you. Hopefully your GP can offer some relief while you are waiting for your scan. X
I have been on Letrozole since May and have experienced similar side effects. I was advised to take Cysticlean tablets by a Greek Gynaecologist for my recurring UTI (concentrated cranberry). They seem to be doing the job (available from Amazon). For the bloating try a good quality pro-biotic, it’s helped me enormously.
