Has any one any experience of surgery at the Lincoln county Hospital and has anyone had sentinel node biopsy done there?

Lincoln County Hospital
I was diagnosed in May 05 and had my treatment at Lincoln. My surgeon was Mr Modi.He did not do Sentinal node biopsy. I was booked in for a mastectomy and node sampling. He must have seen something as he did a full clearance which was proved correct as six nodes were positive.
He also did my reconstruction a year later. He offered to refer me to a plastic surgeon but I was more than happy with his work. I had a Becker expander etc.
My onc was Dr Screenivasen - also excellant.
I have found all the treatment and care good and I know from comparing notes with a friend being treated in London, that the treatment is first class. The only crap treatment was post operative in Grantham (Had my recon done there as Mr Modi could get the operating time to fit in between Chemo and Rads)

H i ceegra and alison, I am also under Mr Modi who i havent met yet but i think my opp which is on monday is going to be done by his understudy Mr Z Ahmed so i hope he is just as good. I am going to have nipple/areola complex excision along with axillary node sampling and as the time gets nearer im starting to get scared. i have to go in on sunday as i am a tablet treated diabetic and my blood test showed something wrong so i have to be put on a drip for some reason before the opp . oh well not long to wait now.
