Lipo Modelling

Anyone any idea about lipo modelling?

I had an WLE and they took a large wedge out of my boob so now one is smaller than the other.
I’ve been told I could be a candidate for Lipo Modelling, so removing fat from belly and sticking it into my smaller boob.

Just wondering how this looks? Anyone?

Have a look at the “reconstruction with my own fat” thread and “reconstruction with fat&stem cells”. X

Elkatrao,
I had 125gm removed with WLE. Had breast reduction to other side to balance, but boob continued to shrink…post rads? 3.5 yrs on my nipple was sitting on my chest due to the shape of the WLE and shrinkage. I guess I was about a good cup size different and clothes twisted etc. Im a 36D.
Sought help and ended up with a LD flap, put to the bottom of the boob to give it vol. Didnt need an implant due to presence of natural boob. Shaped the boob by sucking fat from under arm (where muscle came round) to the boob. 2 jobs for one.
Was told too much of a fill to do by fat alone. I know that the fat has to be inserted in layers so it “takes”. My experience of the fat harvesting was quite painful re bruising for going on 4 weeks post op. Couldn’t imagine doing that 3+ times to offer me any of the volume I needed. Maybe there is another fat moving tech I’ve not heard about?
Regards,
Blessing.

Urgh, sounded simple enough. I don’t know how much they removed but I know it was a lot and I’m a cup size smaller on that side.

I’m yet to see the plastic surgeon, so I’ll find out. Rather get it done before I go look for a job in 2 months time! Probably wont get what I want though.

Let me know how you get on

I was reading some surgeon profiles and noticed a lot of rave reviews about a guy at city hospital, Birmingham. Evidently he is thought to be quite cutting edge and I think I read something about him doing fat insertion technique. Might be worth a try…good luck

Hi nonsuch
What’s the name of the guy at City Hospital, please? I’m trying to find someone to do the stem cell lipofill for me, preferably within travelling range of South Manchester.

I saw the plastic surgeon about this. I had found out that there are some theoretical risks of it causing recurrence, as they centrifuge the fat and this concentrates the natural growth hormone in it. In any case, he said he would not do it before two years had passed. Also, there is some sort of NICE study into it, collecting views from medics around the country, I think, and so I decided to wait and see what their conclusion is.
