Lisa's last rads to brain

Hi Sue,

please send Lisa my very best wishes for her scans, I really hope all goes well with them and you all finally get some positive news.

Shame she couldn’t get her pup spayed, hope her pup behaves herself while she’s in season!!

Take care and good luck,

Kelly

Hi
I don’t know Lisa but read this thread. I really hope it all goes ok for the scans - good luck seems such a trivial thing to say under the circumstances.

Hi Sue,
Good luck for the scans, hopefully you won’t have to wait too long for the results.
Thinking of you both.

Hi Sue,

The face mould was abit scarey at first but i think ive got used to it now. I started radiotherapy yesterday and the doc recommended i have 5 doses but they are quite high doses. So we were in the hospital all morning till lunch, i wasnt feeling too well really achey every where. After my first rads i was really bad i think because it was raining i get shivers for hours due to my liver and also got a real bad headache but i was okay by the evening.
This morning was fine and was over in a minute. It was so quick and the mask isnt too bad either. No side effects today and im not taking any steriods either as my mets are pretty small. Im pretty much tired and sleepy when i get home so im lying down most of the day and come evening abit more awake.

Im probably having chemo next thursday in london so back on the treatment again. To be honest like you im trying to keep positive but im becoming a worried if its going to come up somewhere else. Need to keep positive, need to keep positive.

Good luck with the scans.

Hello Sue and Lisa,

Another IBC girl here, I think we may have chatted on another post. Diagnosed Oct 2005.

I am due to start chemo again on Saturday, I have a second recurrence which seems to be on the move so hopefully we can stop it in its tracks.
I remember well the weight gain and round face from steroids and totally understand Lisa wanting rid of it.
Just want to wish Lisa well for her scans.
I will look out for your post re results,
Love
