Just found out that I have DCIS and going in for surgery on 21st Nov, size of the lump is small at 9mm and was found early. I am taking the lumpectomy option along with radiotherapy. The lump is on the underside of my breast so I am not sure how much it will show (so probably, no going topless on the beach)
Emotionally I am up and down through out the day and would like to talk to others in my situation if possible?
