Hi there,
My name is Heather and I organise our Moving Forward programmes running across the West of Scotland.
For the first time, our post-treatment programme will run at Inverclyde Royal Hospital and we’d love for you to join us.
Moving Forward takes place over four half-day sessions, and is suitable for anyone who has had a diagnosis of primary breast cancer - inlcuding DCIS - within the last three years.
Whether you’re experiencing side effects of treatment, wondering how to adopt a healthier lifestyle or finding it hard to make sense of your breast cancer experience, our service is here for you.
The course will run as follows:
Monday 6 March (1.30pm-5pm)
Monday 13 March (2pm-5pm)
Monday 20 Mach (2pm-5pm)
Monday 27 March (2pm-5pm)
It’s open to anyone from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and we encourage you to attend all four sessions, if possible.
If you’re looking to attend a course elsehwhere in Greater Glasgow, please get in touch. They also run om Lanarkshire, Stobhill Hospital, New Victoria Hospital and the Paisley area.
PLEASE NOTE: A generous donation from a supporter means we are able to help people in Scotland with the cost of travel expenses, childcare during the course, or of bringing a carer should you have a disability. Further details will be included in the joining information for the programme.
To book a place or for further information, please call 0345 077 1893 or email: movingforward@breastcancercare.org.uk
Many thanks and we really hope to see you there,
Heather Tosh
