I hope you don’t mind me posting on here but for all of you out there diagnosed with secondaries who’d like to meet others in the same situation, Breast Cancer Care are launching two new programme of events starting in January in Birmingham and Sheffield. In the New Year, Breast Cancer Care are changing the way we run our current support group in Birmingham and Sheffield for people diagnosed with secondary breast cancer. This new programme of events will focus on providing an opportunity to meet and chat as usual but every other month, in a longer session, a guest speaker will present on an issue from diet to treatments to complementary therapies. You can choose to attend the monthly meetings regularly or just pick and choose sessions that are of interest to you. There will be a counsellor on hand to provide support to the group and lunch on the longer sessions.
