Lobular cancer and pain??? Didn’t know where to post this but i am wondering if anyone with lobular cancer has had a re-occurrence in other breast and if they had pain in it.
I am having another mastectomy next year and was quite happy about this.
Just trying to get my life on track and enjoying life and wham this past 10days i have had pain in this boob and it feels heavy.
The last thing i want to do is make a fuss as i know i panic and i am thinking maybe its just hormonal but i dont know what to do.
I dont see my onc til Oct and my surgeon Sept.
lobular dear ruth i think you should contact your breast care nurse ,and mention the symptoms, it could be hormonal as you say but its probably best to put your mind at rest to have it looked at. i have had lobular and had left breat removed in oct last year and just yesterday felt pain on my ribs on that side not sure wether its from the rads which finished in feb so going to see my nurse today. a bit scared of what may happen but have got this far so will continue to fight this crap desease!! hope this helps let us know how you get on take care lynn x
Invasive lobular I haven’t had a recurrence but had invasive lobular breast cancer and a mastectomy last year with pain, heaviness and a lump. My advice is to contact your breast care nurse and ask for an immediate appointment. If you’re not given one less than two weeks ahead then ask your GP to refer you for an urgent appointment. You’re not making a fuss, just doing the sensible thing. It’s always better to act promptly and get it checked out as soon as possible. Hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about.
