My understanding is that ‘lobular’ is the location of the cancer, ie in or around the lobules of the breast, just as ‘ductal’ is in or around the ducts.
‘Tubular’ is the type of cell structure within the cancer. It is called ‘Tubular Cancer’ but I don’t know whether that is just a sub-classification of say, lobular or ductal.
