I’m doing the Moon Walk in May of this year. A friend asked me to do this with her which I jumped at as since having finished my treatment for Breast Cancer (nearly 3 years ago now) I have wanted to do this one year.
My friend and I have been training but very tragic circumstances have happened in that her husband has just been diagnosed with Lung Cancer and given 6-9 months to live. Very devastating.
I would still like to do the Moon Walk and will do it for my friend, her husband and family.
Is there anyone who lives in or near Farnham, Surrey that is doing the Moon Walk this year and wouldn’t mind me training with them? I know that people get together either as partners and in groups but if anyone wouldn’t mind an extra person joining them I would really like that.
I trained last weekend on my own and although I had my MP3 Player, its still so much better walking with someone!
