Look good feel better sessions

Hi - thought this may be of interest. I went on a ‘Look Good Feel Better’ session at our local MacMillian Centre. Basically it is a make over session for women going through cancer treatment. You get shown how to use colour corrector for those flushed checks, pencil in realistic looking eyebrows and put on a full ‘face’ by qualified beauty consultants. You then get given a full bag of stuff to do your look including cleansers etc. All top stuff i.e. Clarins, YSL etc. and full size not samples. More than anything it was a good laugh… It is totally free and takes up 2 hours.

If you are feeling down I would strongly recommend this as a pick me up. As if they do it at your hospital - they seem to cover most of the country.

Good luck to you all - Swanie

Thanks for your comments . I’ ve been wondering what happens !

Have booked for March ( at my hospital you have to book 2 months in advance ) and am really looking forward a bit of pampering and a laugh.

At first I thought it might be for chemo patients only but was soon put right. What a lovely and generous idea.
