Hi, All,

new to this forum as diagnosed only last week. Currently looking at all the options and need some advice please. I live on Wirral and have now been referred to Whiston hospital because that seems to be the only one that offers DIEP reconstruction which is what I would like to be considered for.

Has anybody had this at Whiston and more importantly: do they offer immediate reconstruction?

Is there any other centre nearby that would offer immediate reconstruction with DIEP flap?

Obviously i have loads more questions but thought I’d do one at a time.

I’m sorry you haven’t any replies to your question about immediate diep reconstruction.  I hope you will come back on the forum if you need information and support as you go through your treatment.

You could also contact our helpline for information and support.  The opening times are 9-5 on weekdays and 10-2 on Saturdays.
