Probably sounds really daft but just in case I thought I would ask if others had the same sensation. When it’s cold and my nipple contracts I get a sensation/pain over the whole breast. I am 3 weeks post op - bruising nearly all gone and scar looks fab still getting stabbing pains which are getting less intense every day but this sensation is weird.

Hi Lambykin,
My understanding is that the stabbing pains are to do with the nerves being affected by surgery and/or radiotherapy and that such sensations indicate healing. Addionally if the lump was removed from anywhere close to the nipple it’s going to be in the zone (so to speak) when your nipple reacts to cold.
It will fade with time. Good to hear the healing is going well.

Yes 2 weeks on and much better the bruising is now very faint and stabbing pains less frequent … Still feels weird when I am cold but hopefully Spring is on its way! ?
