Lymph node removal.

Hi, my Mum had a lumpectomy and 8 lymph nodes removed in December. At her follow up appointment the doctor was pleased with the results of lumpectomy, but unfortunately they had found cancer in one of the lymph nodes. At her next appointment, which is on Wednesday, they will discuss her options with her. But because of her age, she is 82, and she is diabetic the consultant isn’t keen on her having another operation to remove the remaining lymph nodes. My Mum now doesn’t know what to do. Any advice would be very welcome.
