Just wondering if anyone has had carpal tunnel surgery on their affected arm. I had WLE and SNB (7 nodes removed - all clear) Now after all the chemo, rads etc I’m on Arimidex. I don’t have any signs of lymphodoema. I had my right hand operated on this week, but am due to have my left hand (SNB side) done at the end of Feb. I had some good advice from the helpline, but just wondered if anyone had experience of this.
Hi there, sorry I can’t answer your question - though with a sentinel biopsy your risk of lymphedema is much lower than if you’d had axillary clearance.
Just wondering if the CTS came since you were on AIs, as I know there’s a study that shows a link. I have De Quervain’s in both wrists which I *think* is due to Tamoxifen, so curious.
