I live in Slough, my sister in law will move to Cambridge in September, it’s beautiful city
Well done finishing chemo @lauzloo Do you have a Maggie’s at your local hospital? You may be able to meet others there as well.
@cruising so sorry you are feeling so low. Well done for speaking up and hopefully the oncologist will listen and maybe reduce the dose. It’s quite common I started on a lower dose and then had it reduce twice during treatment to be able to finish the regime.
Im in Bournemouth
I’m in bristol
Well done speaking up, hopefully the last 4 go fast. I’ve got 8 to go and oncologist said to try and get as many as I can into me. But he’s not expecting me to complete the remaining 8 due to the fatigue and neuropathy.
Having a low day today, feel so tired and overwhelmed as it’s been 21 weeks of chemo, 8 to go!
Ahh wonderful news. I am sat in the onc assessment unit with a temp at day 10 after EC and someone just rang the bell! Feels like a long way off at moment, esp when feelong rough but so pleased we are all starting to get through it.
21 weeks! Well done for getting so far! I am.only 14 weeks and feel beaten by it. Youre doing so well and so close. You’ll probably know when youve had enough and can do no more?? Take the bad days and lean into them. Do nothing today! X
Im im Poole! Currrently in OAU having bloods and IVABs!!
I love Poole and Bournemouth x
Hope you’re ok, keep us updated x
Oh I meant I have 21 weeks in total and I’m at 13! So the same as you! I’ve had 3 ECs and 4 packitaxel (8 to go). It hits me at different stages but today it feels like I’ve still got a long way to go until I ring the bell! I need to celebrate the little wins like now I’m a 1/3rd way thru paclitaxel.
Youre doing amazingly. Look back at how far you have come!! Every day is inching closer to the end. I feel like loads to go but actually only 3 more ECs. I will just need to really psych myself up for the next sessions.
I cant wait to have some lovely things to look forward to. Ive started a list of all the things i want to do when i feel up to it. Thats keeping me focused x
