I am 4 weeks post mastectomy on letrazole I’m still sore by i am feeling very low. Not much of an apitite. Has anyone been put on antidepressants feeling like this.

i am much further down the line than you ( 15 months post mastectomy, still on herceptin and tamoxifen) but just wanted to send you a hug. It’s still very early days, you are still reeling from the shock of diagnosis and surgery. Just hang on in there and take one day at a time.
I haven’t gone down the anti depressant route ( yet!) but there have been several times when I’ve considered it. I’m hoping someone will be along shortly that will be more help to you regarding it.
Im hoping you have support around you?

Hello Bianco and hello again Runningfree. I’ve responded to your other post Bianco as well. I felt quite low after surgery and also once I started anastrazole. However, there has been some improvement. Runningfree was a bit ahead of me and I took huge comfort from her and others who were ahead of me and also got back to work, which I just couldn’t imagine. I’m now back at work too - with some adjustments. I do get rotten days too sometimes but generally on the up. I’m repeating myself but do speak with your GP and BC nurse to get the support you need and keep checking in here. Hugs xx
